I write fast-paced, character-driven fantasy with magical adventures, spellbinding love stories, and unforgettable friendships.

I’m Haley, a writer and multi-passionate geek with a wide variety of obsessions.

My current WIP is the romantic fantasy series, The Witness Tree Chronicles. So far, the series consists of two novels (Defender of Histories & Keeper of Keys) and a novella (Ballad of Stallions). Book 3, Vow of Magic, is currently available for pre-order.

A little bit more about me…

• I’m a massive music fan. I'll listen to almost any genre, from 90s rock to oldies, EDM to Celtic folk music. (My favorite band of all time is Hanson—and my favorite solo artist is Weird Al.)

• My favorite movies (and the books they originated from!) include Star Wars (just...all of them), Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit trilogy, The Hunger Games trilogy, the Harry Potter series, Spirited Away, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Napoleon Dynamite, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Secret Garden, Pride and Prejudice, Elf, and more...

• I primarily read romantic/YA fantasy, dystopian YA, historical fiction, and the occasional romance.

• I’m a martial artist studying both Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do.

• I double-majored in Professional Writing and History.

• My favorite historical periods to study are ancient Greece (especially mythology); medieval Europe; Tudor England; the Renaissance & Reformation; early colonization of North America (especially Roanoke & Jamestown); the Revolutionary War and early formation of the United States; the Gilded Age (with an emphasis on late 19th-century New York City); the Romanov dynasty (Nicholas II the Russian Revolution); and more...
